Car Fire

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire from the Brookline station hose down a 2007 Dodge Charger that caught fire while being towed from the auto pound to a salvage yard in West Mifflin Friday, November 13, 2009. The tow truck driver discovered the car was on fire while driving outbound through the Liberty Tunnel. He was able to exit the tunnel on to Rt. 51 near West Warrington Avenue. The vehicle was totaled three weeks ago when the driver was involved in a high speed chase with police on Becks Run Road.
