Alaska Tats

Moon Area High School junior Alysshia “Ali” Almasy, 17, is spending four weeks exploring Alaska this summer through a National Outdoor Leadership School Scholarship. Almasy has a tattoo on her left foot of the Alaskan state flower, the Forget Me Not, (fireweed version) with the phrase “not all who wonder are lost,” and a compass on her right foot.
I like the tattoo’s a lot. The quote along with the compass and the flowers represent Alaska greatly! Being born and raised there, I can really appreciate this tattoo.

There is no “fireweed version” of the Forget-Me-Not as they are completely two different flora; although that explains why you’ve desecrated the colouring of our state flower.
